About Makenah

My name is Makenah!  I am a Speech Pathologist, a fitness coach, and a cycling Instructor! I received my Bachelor’s of Communication Sciences at Baylor University (Sic’em Bears) and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Stephen F. Austin State University (Axe’em Jacks).  Growing up, I did gymnastics until 17 and loved helping out with the Special Olympics and coaching younger groups of children. This led to an amazing opportunity, while at Baylor University, to compete on their acrobatics and tumbling team and earn 4 National Championship titles! I am so blessed to have had the experience of being a Division 1 student-athlete, as it has shaped much of who I am today.  I love both speech therapy and fitness coaching because they give me the opportunity to positively impact individuals and their loved ones.  I have always enjoyed working with others and helping others become a better version of themselves while gaining a wider set of skills.  Outside of TCTS-you can find me working out, coaching cycling classes, or exploring nature! I enjoy traveling and learning about all that the world has to offer.  I am so excited to meet and grow relationships with each of you.
